How to find Lymington Yacht Haven

BY BOAT:
We’re the very first marina up the Lymington River on the port hand side i.e. the marina closest to the Solent.

BY RAIL: Regular half-hourly service from Brockenhurst through to Lymington Town Station.

BY CAR: Exit the M27 at Junction 1 following signs for Lymington southbound onto the A337 to Lymington and continue through the one-way system. At the “Pennington Cross Roundabout” (turning before the Shell garage), begin to follow all signs for the Marinas and Riverside. This will lead you left down Ridgeway Lane, left onto Rookes Lane, then right onto: All Saints Road, Stanley Road, Westfield Road and finally crossing King’s Saltern Road where we are located. Note: By exiting at Junction 2 on the M27, one can reach Lymington via Beaulieu, thus avoiding potential bottlenecks during the busy season.

MARINA AND RIVER RULES & REGULATIONS
The marina rules are clearly stated in full on the reverse of the berthing contract. In summary:
1 - Lymington Yacht Haven follows the guidelines issued by the British Marine Federation which recommends that all marina users have a minimum third party insurance of £2,000,000. We have negotiated advantageous rates for yacht insurance through Haven Knox-Johnston. Proposal forms are available at Reception.
2 - If an independent contractor is employed to work on your vessel, please advise us beforehand so that all necessary procedures and insurance requirements are followed correctly. Evidence of £2 million public liability insurance is mandatory.
3 - Please do not allow pets to foul the marina site or annoy other boat owners.
4 - Dinghies and tenders should be stored on board.
5 - The speed limit within the marina is 3 knots and within the river, 6 knots.
6 - The Wightlink ferries within the river have right of way, and should be given a wide berth to minimise the sheering effect caused by the change of pressure zone created by their bulk in a narrow channel. Ensure that you are aware of the basic rules of the 'road' and the implications of the collision regulations. Keep to your starboard side and pass other vessels port to port.
